Johannus Opus, Sweelinck, and Rembrandt series organs are sampled from pipe organs throughout the United States and Europe.  These instruments feature Romantic, Symphonic, and Baroque intonations in Classic, Hymn, Trio and Solo styles.  Thus, Opus Sweelinck and Rembrandt series organs provide the flexibility of 12 organs in one!

Makin organs by Johannus are English in concept and design, and are sampled from English pipe organs.  These instruments feature both English Romantic and European Baroque intonations.

Monarke organs are individually designed and built to specific client requirements.  Johannus offers over fifteen hundred sampled pipe ranks from some of the worlds most respected names in organ building, including Aeolian-Skinner, Gottfried Silbermann, Cavaillé-Coll, Henry Willis, Harrison & Harrison, and Flentrop.

Our library of sampled organ pipes consists of American Romantic, North Germanic, French Classical, English Cathedral, and Dutch Symphonic pipe ranks, assuring we can satisfy any musical requirement.

The state-of-the-art technology found in our top-of-the-line organs is incorporated in all our instruments.  Whether your needs require an organ for a modest chapel or expansive cathedral, all our organs provide the same quality and technology.

Our technology features note-by-note sampling of every pipe within each rank, while some manufacturers sample or record ranks in groups.  For example, we sample each Mixture rank individually rather than as a group.  Our ‘real time’ sampling assures properly scaled pipes with correct tonal and harmonic textures throughout each rank stop.  Other manufacturers may ‘process’ their samples, losing the proper harmonic speech characteristics of each individual pipe.

We use the maximum number of pitch sources for optimum pipe authenticity.  In a pipe organ, every pipe is an individual pitch and harmonic source of sound and tone.  Thus, playing full organ with every stop will generate the same independent pitches and harmonics as a pipe organ of similar tonal resources!  With 32-bit sampling, including 8-bits for expression, and a minimum sampling rate of 48kHz, our organs replicate the rich ensemble of the majestic pipe organ. 

Our organs use more DAC’s (digital to analog converters) than those of other manufacturers; up to 96 DAC’s in our standard models. DAC’s are important because they change digital sampled information into analog waveform.  Digital information cannot be heard; thus, it must be converted into waveform signal.  In order to properly convert the original data into analog audio, ample pathways must be provided.  Our organs provide up to four times as many DAC’s as those of some other manufacturers.  More DAC’s equal tonal accuracy without distortion.

Sound must originate from numerous sources for optimum tonal coverage and pipe authenticity. While some manufacturers may provide only minimal audio channels, amplifiers, and speakers, our organs feature expanded channels and increased amplification for the most satisfying tonal results.

Our exclusive Intonat software provides the capacity to tonally voice and finish your organ on-site on a note-by-note, stop-by-stop basis to satisfy every musical and acoustical need.

All organs by Johannus are designed to incorporate windblown pipe ranks within the tonal specification.
